Pastor Tripp and Pastor Jacob explain the vision and heart behind this bible study video project.
The Vision
To glorify GOD by producing a visually stunning and theologically rich Bible study video series that is shot on location in Israel where the actual Biblical events took place, and to provide these Bible studies 100% free to anyone.
Teaching On Location
When it comes to studying the Bible, having a visual context of the setting not only aids in our understanding of the text, but it also brings the narrative to life in profound ways as we are reminded that the events of scripture happened to real people in real places. Our goal is to teach these Bible stories right where they happened, drawing from the rich geographic and cultural context of the Holy Land.
Application
We envision these videos being used for any Bible study application, ranging from personal or family devotional use, all the way up to group gatherings of any size. We also see a great value for pastors and/or groups that are preparing themselves to visit the Holy Land.
The first video trip is scheduled for April 2026. Our goal is to shoot 16-20 Bible studies. If the project is received well, we will go back to shoot a second round of teachings.

Tripp Turner / Teaching Pastor
Tripp serves as the Pastor of Teaching, Leadership, and Vision at The Mission North Shore on the island of O'ahu. For over 20 years, he has been leading trips to Israel, passionately teaching on the very sites where the Bible unfolded. From his first visit, Tripp felt a deep calling to share the experience of the Holy Land with as many people as possible—and he’s been guiding groups there ever since. With that same heart, and a recognition that not everyone can make the journey in person, Tripp is now bringing the Holy Land to you through this Bible study series, inviting you to encounter the Scriptures in the land where they came to life.

Jacob Pierce / Pastor for Team Care / Creative Insight
Jacob serves as Lead Pastor of Sunset Beach Christian Church on the North Shore of O'ahu where he is committed to teaching God's Word faithfully and multiplying disciple-makers. In 2023 he spearheaded the launch of Good Soil discipleship school––a ten week, fully immersive biblical education program for young adults. With a background in worship leadership, songwriting and music outreach, Jacob loves leading creative teams and helping others use their God-given gifts for the glory of Christ. He and Briana (his wife of 17 years) love raising their four kids by the beach on the North Shore. After a recent trip to the Holy Land along with Tripp Turner, Jacob is now passionate about bringing the Holy Land experience to others.

As a contract photographer for Christian organizations like Samaritan’s Purse and Compassion International, she travels far and wide—documenting stories of hope, resilience, and redemption. From the war-torn streets of Ukraine to the vibrant villages of Uganda, Emily uses her lens to shine a light on what Jesus is doing in some of the most extraordinary places on earth. With a passion for people and a deep love for the Gospel, she sees storytelling not just as art, but as ministry—inviting others to witness God's faithfulness in every corner of the world.
Will You Be Taking a Group? Can I Go?
We will be taking a very small group to serve as an audience for the teachings, and maybe even as production assistants who will help carry, set-up, and tear-down equipment.
Since the primary objective of the trip will be to capture ultra-high quality video content, this will be a slightly different group experience than Pastor Tripp usually leads. Teachings and sites will be limited to what we can realistically handle for the purpose of the project. There may be more time spent at each location to allow the film crew to capture B roll footage, and flexibility will be paramount as we may need to improvise in order to ‘get the shot’. For these reasons, we are looking for a select few individuals to come along who are totally committed to the vision of the project and the process.
Make no mistake: this will be an epic experience for those fully bought into this specific adventure.
